I never thought of it that way. I do agree with you. I look at crying as someone just being overwhelmed with an emotion and finally letting it out.
ReplyDeleteCrying does not only mean you have given up, it can also represent your strength to release the things and people who have let you down. Some people cry over the situation they were in. Others cry because they felt as if they weren't good enough, but in the end the meaning behind their tears depends on what the person had gone through.

ReplyDeleteI don't think crying is a sign of weakness or strength. Crying is a release or expression of strong emotion. That has nothing to do with being weak or strong. Everyone needs to cry from time to time just to release pent up feelings.

ReplyDeleteDang! I honestly have seen crying as weakness because I'm such a weak person and cry over everything. But now that you mention it, its true crying can be seen as both! Usually when i cry when I'm going to give up, i some how always find strength and that's how i manage to not give up actually.
