What was the hardest experience you ever went through and how did you get through it?
The hardest experience I ever had was in fifth grade in 2013 when my dad died. It was hard not having the relationship other people had with their dad´s at such a young age. What helped me through it was having my family being by my side and supporting me. My mother and I are strong believers in Jesus and we believe that he is always with us taking care of us.
I am sorry for you loss I can also connect this to my own personal life. My grandma passed away which was one of the hardest thing that happen to me. When you have a strong relationship with someone it's hard to believe that they're gone because you don't want that. However, it's great how you were strong and that your family always stood by your side when you need it the most.
ReplyDeleteI can only relate about not having a relationship with my dad, but only because he chose not to be there. For me, it was hard, but I'm sure it was harder for you. You're such a strong person and it's nice knowing you had those around for you.
ReplyDeleteI think Jolissa is brave for sharing this. Losing a loved one is one of the biggest hardships people have to face and choosing to persevere and smile is very courageous. Things always get better.
ReplyDeleteYou are very brave for sharing something so personal with us. I feel like this makes you stronger than ever, in my opinion. I lost one of my closest friends last year so I know it's hard, but they are watching us and taking care of us up above. Stay strong.
ReplyDeleteIt was probably really hard for you to share this and I'm so happy that you did share it because that shows that you're tougher than you are and no matter what happens you know how to deal with it. I can only relate not having a relationship with my father and only because we can't deal with each other and are always fighting about little things.
ReplyDeleteI can completely relate to you. I know what it's like to be in that same position. Support systems are what got me through it, and just know that Veritas will always be a support system for you.
ReplyDeleteWe appreciate you sharing something so personal like this. I think most of us can have something relatable like that. Family is important in situations like that and I am glad you got through it.
