"What according to you is a sensitive topic that should not be joked about?"
"Well, we had a discussion today in class about that. We were talking about killing someone's happiness. A student brought up teen suicide because of bullying. I think it's something that, especially kids in high school, need to talk about. No matter how small a comment is, it always affects someone. Someone makes one small comment that hurts your feelings and it suddenly makes all the good comments anyone else said disappear. What people say and how they say it affects everyone."

  1. This is very true. Sometimes it's better to not say anything because you dont know what everyone have been through. Maybe the topic has to do with the problem they had and they might think you are joking about it.

  2. So I'm in adolescent psychology and one of the topics that we talk about is teen suicide. And I do think it's something that teens need to learn about and become educated about because it's something that I think most teens don't understand. I think teens don't realize that it affects other teens. And how being mean can cause them to think that subside is okay. And it's not

  3. A sensitive topic that should not be joked about is people not caring what you say. It is one thing saying you do not for someone's opinion. It is another to say that you don't care what other people think of you, especially in regards to what you say. The most insensitive, insulting thing anyone can say, is that you don't care what other people say. It shows you have no regard for anyone or anything, and if you have no regard for what anyone else says, why should anyone regard what you say?

  4. Teen suicide is something that should be taken seriously. One negative comment about someone may scar them for life. When students are in their teen years, they are at a sensitive stage where even one unpleasant stare may tear their world apart.

  5. This is true. Sometimes we say things that we think we don't hurt anyone but we do. We say things without knowing what are they going through. Sometimes it's better to stay quiet.

  6. Teen suicide is a very serious and extreme matter that should be taken seriously. Having a sibling who I nearly lost to suicide, having a friend who HAS died from suicide and currently dealing with suicidal tendencies myself, I know how one little comment, remark or insult can have a last longing effect that can definitely change you forever.
